Organist/Pianist
Mr. Robbie Braciszewski
Robbie Braciszewski was born in Columbia, South Carolina where he has spent his entire life. He began his musical studies at the very early age of 5 taking private music lessons from the late Dr. Frank Olenchak. He began studying classical performance and theory at the age of 9 where he fell in love with the music of Joseph Haydn. He continued his private studies until the age of 16 where he changed his focus to ensemble music. He mastered the euphonium landing himself 1st chair in the Richland Northeast Symphonic band. Mr Braciszewski was also the drum major of the marching band at Richland Northeast which he says is one of his fondest memories. While majoring in Real Estate at the University of South Carolina, he began his private studies with Dr. Olenchak yet again primarily focusing on advanced theory. At 23, he began taking jazz theory from the late Mr. Robert Newton. Mr. Braciszewski has been a youth choir director, a handbell music minister, and lead organist/pianist at various churches around Columbia. He is currently the Deputy Executive Director for the South Carolina Independent School Association which is a position he has enjoyed for the last 4 years after a rewarding career in education for 20 years.
