Mother’s Day Offering — Presbyterian Communities of SC

By May 2, 2018 Uncategorized

On Sunday, May 13, we will be receiving the Mother’s Day offering to support Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC). PCSC serves over 819 residents in its five different communities. 100% of the Mother’s Day offering goes towards providing charitable care to seniors at these Presbyterian Communities who have outlived their financial resources. Even when someone has saved responsibly for retirement, a health crisis or an especially long life can quickly deplete resources. At any given time, up to 7% of residents find themselves in such a situation at Presbyterian Communities of SC. In 2017, approximately $1.2 million dollars was received, serving 37 residents, whose average age is 91. Your gift can offer hope, shelter and care to some of our most advanced seniors. Please consider giving generously to this offering, knowing that your gift will offer seniors and their families security and peace of mind. Envelopes will be in the bulletins on Sunday, May 13!  To learn  more about PCSC, please click here.
