Harvest Hope Work Day is June 28

By June 15, 2018Uncategorized

Each month, a group of Trinity volunteers meets at Harvest Hope Food Bank on Shop Rd. All are invited to join us as we sort and bag food items for future clients. We always have a good time and get a lot of good work in for our community! Consider joining us this month from 1-3pm on June 28! You can sign up on the chart outside of the chapel or talk to Dottie Copeland.

The mission of Harvest Hope Food Bank is to provide for the needs of hungry people by gathering and sharing quality food with dignity, compassion and education.

Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties of South Carolina. Harvest Hope distributed over 27.5 million meals last year and fed approximately 48,000 people a week. Come be a part of spreading the good news by helping to feed the hungry in our local area!
